Quotations & Guarantees
Yeovil Windows & Conservatories Ltd offer a no obligation free quotation service. We will arrange an initial appointment at a time that is convenient to you in your own home. At this meeting we will listen to your requirements, offer advice, make recommendations and showcase our product range. Should you wish to proceed we will return at your convenience to undertake a full survey. A written estimate will then be produced for your confirmation and acceptance.
On acceptance of our quotation Yeovil Windows & Conservatories Ltd will require a deposit of 50% of the quotation, sum to be paid prior to fabrication products commencing.
All quotations, deposits and payments will include and be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
Our quotations will remain open for an acceptance period of 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
Planning and Building Regulations
Yeovil Windows & Conservatories Ltd always advises it Customers to check with their local Council if they require planning or building regulation approval before they proceed with any proposals. Many installations will not require planning permission provided you do not live in a listed building, a designated area or have any relevant restrictive covenant on your home. More information on planning requirements and in particular permitted development rights can be found on the planning portal website.
In terms of building regulations Councils will be looking to ensure works comply with any access, fire safety, ventilation, safety glazing and thermal heat loss regulations. One of the ways to demonstrate compliance would be to use a company or organisation registered with CPS (Competent Persons Scheme), Yeovil windows & Conservatories Ltd is a member of FENSA (Federation Self-Assessment Scheme) which is registered with CPS.
A FENSA company can certify building regulation compliance, register details with the local Council and issue a certificate to you on completion of the work. Customers should note that FENSA certification only applies to replacement windows and excludes, new build, conservatories, extensions, repairs and commercial premises.

The above guarantees are based on Customers maintaining products in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and exclude wilful or negligent damage. The guarantee period commences at the date of installation.
